About Super Course
Mission
Arabic Super course is designed as a mirror for the super course
of epidemiology, global health and internet at www.pitt.edu/~super1
to develop preventive education for Egypt and other Arab countries, a program of
Telepreventive Medicine, which will be a part of the Egyptian Telemedicine
program. This is a global effort designed to accumulate outstanding
PowerPoint Lectures on prevention, and provide these for free to the teachers of
the world. An overview of the Super course is included.
The following will be its aim:
1) Establishment of a network of prevention scientists in
the Egypt who will participate in lecture development
2) Development of a center at the Medical Syndicate and MOH
for the Super course
3) Extracting Lectures on prevention and the Internet from
Egyptian Scientists
4) Distribution of the Super course via the Internet, CD,
and “Comic Book” approaches to those engaged in prevention through out Egypt
5) Establishment of a Mirrored server (a copy of the Super course)
at the MOH in English, with translation into Arabic
6) Scientific publication of the effort in leading journals
